How can I download Pro?

We are so excited that you’re interested in IDCube Pro. The software is now available for download or to be purchased on a USB drive. You will have to submit a request to receive the license file which is typically valid for 1 year. Other arrangements are possible. To submit the request, please fill out the form below.

+ Why doesn't the Mac Version have all advertised functions? 
  The Mac OS version has some limitations in the graphics due to the incomplete compatibility. We apologize for any inconvenience and make all efforts to eliminate the issues. 	
  
+ I cannot download a file from the Aviris website. 
 We have seen this issue for certain PC configurations and Chrome. Make a right click on the Download link and select "Open in a new window." The download should start immediately. Alternatively, change the browser to Internet Explorer. 	
  
+ I am having difficulties opening a file. The file is not recognized.
 IDCubeLite and IDCubePro recognizes a gereat variety of files. For files ither than .m (or .mat) the files have to be first imported into the the IDCube format via the Import function, then saved as an .m file. The saved .m file can be opened normally via Open File. A step by step procedure is described in the manual or in one of our how-to-do videos. We are working on simplifying and streamlining the whole process. If you are still experiencing difficulties, we will be happy to help you with the file conversion. Please contact us.	
  
+ Can your software analyze normal color images?
   Yes, it can. IDCubeLite and IDCubePro can open and process any images with more than 2 channels and treat it as a datacube. A color image such as (jpeq, png, bmap, etc) has three channels: red, green and blue and therefore, amenable to IDCube processing algorithms.  	
  
+  My file is too big to open on my computer. What should I do?
   We routinely work with files up to 1 GB on typical desktops and laptops. Larger files consume more computational resources and might cause delays and freezing of the computer. If the computationally powerful hardware is not available, we suggest to apply binning and cropping implemented in IDCube Lite to reduce the size of the file.

Some of the algorithms are very slow, especially for images with high spatial resolution.
    High resolution images (i.e. >20 million pixels)  consume a lot of computaional power. If more powerful computers are unavaliable, please use binning to lower spatial and spectral resolution.

Can I save the file after I process the data?
    This function is implemented in the Pro versions of IDCube. Please upgrade if you are only using IDCubeLite.

Can I open multiple image files to compare the data side by side?
   Yes, you can. Just make sure all files have the same spectral dimensions. Click Open File and select up to 10 files to visualize and process your files side by side. If the files are of different dimensions, you might also use spatial and spectral cropping to adjust the dimensions.

I have datacubes that are from Raman imaging. Can I use your software?
   Yes, you can. However, IDCube only support a few Raman imaging systems. Please contact us, and we will work with you to make a custom plugin.

I have images from a fluorescence lifetime imager. Can your software help analyzing the data?
   Yes, it can but with some limitations. Our current versionreads files from FLIM systems manufactured by Becker-Hickl. If you have a different system, please contact us, and we might be able to make a custom plugin for your data.

I have my own hyperspectral imaging algorithms. How can I integrate them in your software?
   We welcome an opportunity to integrate new algorithms into our software. Please contact us to discuss different possibilities.

Do you plan to have a web-based interface?
  Yes, we are working on the web-based software, which will be available in both Lite and Pro versions.

My company manufactures imaging systems. Can your software be adopted for our needs?
   We would welcome an opportunity to integrate IDCube into your imaging system and modify the software according to your specifications and design. Please contact us to discuss different possibilities.

We identified a new index. Can this index be added to the software? 

   You can use your own formula implemented in the Datacube Mathematics panel.  IDCubePro also features commonly used indexes. The indexes can be modified or developed de novo by the user and saved. If you would like to become a partner, please contact us.

How can we perform batch processing of the data?
   IDCubeLite and IDCubePro do not support batch processing, although you can download and process up to 10 files simultaneously.

Our image processing requires a LUT that is not part of the software. 

   This function isa not currently available. Our future IDCubePro version will enables the user to design and save their own look-up-table (LUT) and color scheme.

What are the computer requirements? Can I use a cell phone to play with IDCube? 

   IDCubeLite and IDCubePro are compatible with Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1,  Windows 10 and Mac computers. Both packages are computaionally demanding and require a desktop or a laptop with preferably 16 GB RAM and a hard drive with 10 GB available space. IDCubeLite and IDCubePro are curently not compatible with mobile versions.

The download is more than 2GB, a bit too big even for an imaging software. Why is that?

   IDCubeLite and IDCubePro utilize a great number of functions and visualization tools that require an extensive library that enables the execution of the commands. This library is large and comprises most of the size of the software.

I want to apply my formula to the image. How should I do that?

   You can make your own equation through the Analysis panel on the left side of the software front panel. Click Expression and type your equation. You can use up to three wavelengths in your formula. The manual has a list of functions that are supported by IDCube Lite.
